Last weekend when I was chillin with Peter in Syracuse, we decided to try and get something a lil more from my Aurora intake system. Now typically a pipe intake with filter is generally considered a no no with this 4.0'* unless you design a proper heat shield like Mr TaylorD did in his last car (96Aurora), anyhow, thanks to Twister97 I was able to get my hands on a K&N OE filter replacement for nothing!! (too cool!).

From there we removed the interior plastic lining from the top of the airbox and dropped in the filter. I have plans to cap the resonator hole but gotta fine a 1-1/4" PVC cap.

Seems to get to 6000 RPM a lot faster now off the roll and whines just ever so nicely.

Talking to Scott a bit yesterday and he said there are rumors of a supercharger being available for the northstar next year. Going to try to adapt it to the gxp. I asked him where the hell he was going to put it and he said, "thats what hoodscoops are for".
