Last weekend when I was chillin with Peter in Syracuse, we decided to try and get something a lil more from my Aurora intake system. Now typically a pipe intake with filter is generally considered a no no with this 4.0's unless you design a proper heat shield like Mr TaylorD did in his last car (96Aurora), anyhow, thanks to Twister97 I was able to get my hands on a K&N OE filter replacement for nothing!! :D (too cool!).

From there we removed the interior plastic lining from the top of the airbox and dropped in the filter. I have plans to cap the resonator hole but gotta fine a 1-1/4" PVC cap.

Seems to get to 6000 RPM a lot faster now off the roll and whines just ever so nicely.

Once I get my cap on the res I wil take pics, in fact two birds with one stone, centre caps on the rims....new intake and oooo interior vids maybe? :wink:

Alright, that's a start, now GO GET A 80mm THROTTLE BODY!!!! you will thank me afterwards. :twisted: Definitly get a cap for that res. forgot who makes them, search http://www.caddyinfo.com I know there's a part number listed and under 10 bucks. look in the photogallery, it's there somewhere.

Talking to Scott a bit yesterday and he said there are rumors of a supercharger being available for the northstar next year. Going to try to adapt it to the gxp. I asked him where the hell he was going to put it and he said, "thats what hoodscoops are for". :twisted:
