Default Replacement Headlight Assembly?

Clipped a deer with the right/passenger side headlight. Cracked the whole assembly. The only replacements I can find anywhere are for the SE and SLEs only, no GXP. I checked salvage yards, parts stores, everywhere. I can't even order them online. I am wondering if I can just use a SE or SLE headlight assembly, and why or why not? I have heard that the trim is different so they won't fit from a SE or SLE to a GXP, but I feel that is B.*.
HELP!

Call the dealer and see if the part numbers are the same. According to this seller the one he has fits them all.

GXPs had smoked reflectors and used HIR highbeams, which involved different highbeam bulbs, making them 'incompatible' with the lower trim levels.

They should physically interchange if you need however, just get a matching pair, and when sourcing replacement bulbs, don't look for 'GXP' trim level highbeams.

Ah okay. It seems like, absent aftermarket production, the GXP assemblies will quickly become impossible to get and swapping to the more-common non-GXP units will be the only way. Funny how that has happened so often over the years.
