GXP mpg
#91
I have had my new 2005 GXP for less than 2 weeks now - but I had a 1,600 mile drive home with it - Ha! I live just southwest of Houston, TX and bought my car in northern Virginia and drove down through Charlotte, NC. I reset the fuel avg every time I filled up and had a high of 21.4 mpg and a low of 19.4 mpg. Not too bad as I was usually around 75mph and in some hilly conditions at times. Here at home I have seen a much lower avg - but I am sure it is due to mostly in-town driving, spirited driving, and a short warmup period each time I take it out.
I plan on adding a K&N Filter and some Bosch Platinum +4 Plugs (have them in our other 3 vehicles and have been very pleased with them despite negative comments about them on some other boards) to boost HP a bit and maybe pick up a slight amount in fuel economy as well.
Looking for more mods - but they sure seem to be few and far between. Very happy to find this forum though. Thanks!

We have a 2005 Bonne GXP. Took it to Indy last weekend for the All State 400 and we got 21.5 to 22.5 on the Interstate traveling anywhere from 70-75 mph. Had some two lane 60 mph driving on the way home and we were getting 24 at 60 mph. Car has 13,000 miles, 87 octane with normal driving.

My 05 GXP didnt get more than 17mpg most of the time. I think the N* has to work harder since theres not much power down low and thats what hurt peoples gas miles.
