Default Front Trans Mount

How do you remove the front tranmission mount on a 2005 GXP? The rubber, fluid mount was separated into two pieces.

I put the car up on jacks, and lifted the engine a good two inches via a jack. There two bolts to remove on the tranny, one on a cross-bar, two on the fron the side of the engine, and one on the subframe that connects to the mount. There is also one more nut to remove on the upper side of the mount, but there isn't hardly any access. So I was unable to remove.

I've looked at pictures and all I can find is for non-GXP models. The GXP doesn't have the three bolt configuration like other models.

Any help and pictures would be greatly appreciated. THanks.

Not that there isnt any interest in your problem here Truehle, We havent had one go bad here or have to replace as of yet. I'll roll mine up on the ramps when I get a chance and look. They give soo little room to do squat on these GXP'*. Changing the plugs is a real treat as well.

This one is definately shot. I wish I took a picture while I was down there. Maybe living in the hot, dry desert contributes to these things going bad. I'm wondering if the mount is the same part as previous year models as autozone, etc. don't even list the part, but it looks identidal as far as I can tell. I thought about the hockey puck mount, but I don't really drive that hard, and I put less than 8K miles per year on it.

I'm almost thinking that I have to remove a larger component to get at it. I think I can lift the mount a couple inches before it hits the exhaust(?).
