Default Clicking?

Is it normal for these cars to have a "clicking" sound while idling? Almost sounds like a lifter ticking. It'* not piston slap, it'* not that prominent. Also, it happens hot or cold. I don't know how else to describe it other than it sounds like a lifter isn't pumping up??

Any ideas? Normal?

Might it be the injectors that you're hearing? They click each time the solenoid is activated.

Could be. I dunno though, doesn't seem fast enough for all of the injectors? Sounds like it'* one cylinder? I only base that on the perceived frequency of the click.

This is probably true. Now, before I break it, how does this engine cover come off? Is it friction fit, or are there some screws somewhere?
