Default 2005 Bonneville GXP a/c problem

Just got in my car tonight and the a/c comes on by itself, I thought I turned it on by accident since I don't run the a/c much I prefer windows down, but the a/c is on won't turn off, won't respond in any way to the controls, and the display is completely blank. It is only blowing cold air at the floor vents. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey this,
1st let me start with this
you might get much more help if you post this under the correct section which is "Bonneville GXP/ Northstar Powered Cars"
2nd i never ran into your problem, but i remembered now when i was installing my stereo every time i unplugged the harness for the AC controls it went on full blast till i connected it back again
i would 1st check the plug as it might be loose
if not i would assume that the unit is fried.
but again don't quote me on any of that since i'm just assuming stuff

give it some time and i'm sure some of the tech guys would help you soon

You may wish to check all of the fuses, including the maxifuses, just to make sure none are blown out. I have the same issue when my ELC Maxifuse is pulled. Yes I know, different beast, but the point remains.
