Cause all that has to same same
Yeah, I edited my posts. Let me know what they say, it will be interesting to hear what they have to say about that huge price increase.

If you're considering nitrous, you need to get a direct port system. With the northstars, you'll blow up the manifold with a wet system. The fuel puddles in the bottom of the intake. Just FYI and all...

I was talking about the one for the STS/XLR (both northstar) for $600. It was 300 a couple weeks ago.

You should have asked them for the proof that it gained 14hp. It seems like nobody actually tests the products they sell themselves, always second hand information. "Oh yeah, Billy Bob ran it on the dyno, and he said he got 50hp"... Right.

I'm going to do some asking around, gxp rules, do you have a camera?

You think dyno testing comes cheap or what?
Yeah, i do think dyno testing comes cheap. I took my car to the dyno a month ago. Cost me $55 for 3 pulls. Double that, and you have 6 pulls, you can do 3 before and 3 after.

Anyways, enough of that... I've been talking with someone who might be willing to machine our throttle bodies. However, he needs pictures of the throttle body, and I don't have a camera, and I'm certainly not going to send him my throttle body because it'* my daily driver.

Anyways, if you could, please take some pictures from as many angles as possible, and post them here, or email them to me. You will probably have to take the intake off. You never know, he might do them for $300 like RSM was originally charging, but he won't commit to a price until he has at least seen what they look like. Thanks,

See vid here:

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...54BBCD3BEF.htm

Problem is you fill your entire intake with a highly explosive mixture. All it takes then is an ignition source, like running lean, running hot, static, or whatever. Direct port shoots the mix straight into the intake ports. Much safer.

There'* another vid out there showing a mustang shatter a thick aluminum manifold. Can't find it though. Powerful stuff.
