**Need Throttle body help**

See what ya meam. and makes sense,also.
The guy i bought first nox setuo from(much cheaper than the one I got 4 Bonnie) told me at the time to throttle down nice and easy after injection, quess he knew what you do. Anyway if i do blow the plastic manifold thru the hood I quess I'd be in good contention for the harofreak syndrome award of '06 send some info this way about guy who bores out throttle bodies eh?

I'm getting one of these 80mm bored TB'* and spacers for my Aurora. Lemme know if you want one for your GXP. They are verified to work flawlessly on the Aurora and 96-99 STS. You'll need to confirm if it works on the GXP. If so, I can get you his email addy.

WOW!....Jim I dont really know that I can verify buit should bolt in anyway? Right? There is squat out about LD8 mods Quess my answer would be how much and it'* gotta bolt on if it fits the STS right? Not much to go on seeing the N* sections turned into a chat room, and its turned rediculous and redundent. I for one would really like to make mine a true performance vehicle.
Only real difference I can find is the smaller exhaust valve on the GXP. I guess if the price doesnt scare me , I'll be the guinea, could always get rid of it here, I imagine.
I done some work at a local industrial plating shop after IBM bought me out and they have an electroless nickel tank with teflon, think that would be worth considering before I change The TB" out? Wouldnt cost me much. I just dont know if it would do anything street wise. I'm not looking for a tenth sec here or there. To bad they dont have decreative chrome plating or my mags would be there. Thanks Jim and I'll try to dig some info but.......gonna change my nickname to GXPGuineaPig
One good article I ran into , Pontiac will introduce the Lucerne platform as the G8 in 07 and like the Lucerne will have LD8 as it'* engine so info and mods should start happening. Alot of dated pages here and elseware, Has anybody you know of cracked the code so the PCM can be reflashed or sell an aftermarket PCM?

I do not believe anyone has flashed the PCM yet. What kinda things would you want out of a PCM flash?
I'll have to do a bit of research on the similiarities between the Aurora 4.0, 96-99 4.6 and the GXP 4.6
If their 72mm TB'* are universal then this mod will work on your 4.6

Sir if the TB fits I'm in. Nitrous doesnt register as oygen going in and extra gas is needful I. If I could reflash to retard the timing a little (Holley/NOS recomended) and remove the limiters I'd feel a little safer with some inherents dangers of nitrous injection. Such as gas/nitrous buildup leading to a combustion in the intake manifold (plastic right?) and if i trigger the rpm limiter with the nitrous button down, an explosion.
If I could get a better breathing TB, reflash the PCM, and use a modest 75 Hp nitrous boost, I feel I'm approaching CHRFab'* stated, N*'* 400Hp lower end durability rating and not even get my hands greasy
Off topic but you are informed and busy / GM service said they wont put a lower thermostat in the car because it will trigger the PCM to do other things to compensate, creating trouble. I keep hearing cooler thermostat and wonder if the older V6'* PCM isn't as sophisticated or is GM blowing smoke at me. I would be happy to repost this subect if it is an issue. And thank you for your interest in my project.
