it honestly would be better to sell the 89 CD player on the club here ( as i know MANY would be interested in it) and buy one off ebay that fits your car

The stereo will work, But you will need adapter brackets for the side of the Stereo as the brackets for the 89 along with the clip/bolts will need to be removed... The connector from the 95 will plug into the 89 stereo.... Not sure if you will be able to use the support for the rear of the stereo in the 95 tho.. And most likely no steering wheel control function..

if your 89 works fine, I'll consider purchasing it from you.

sorry about the late post.

the cd player is a sony, not pontiac. my bad. the tranny is burntout and will cost more than what the car is worth to rebuild. the tape deck in the 95 bonni, i would be more than happy to put on the forum after/if i can get the cd player out of the 89 before the charity tows the vehicle tomorrow(friday the 6th of Oct).

thank you so much

anyone know how to get an aftermarket cd player out of a 89 bonni? the cd player(sony) was already in the vehicle before i got it.

i got the car 4 weeks ago for free and now i see why it was free. at least i got a cd player out of it, after dumping $110 in gas and 3 containers of tranny fluid, i still lost on the deal. car is now donated. tax stuff, yay!
