Who cares on how the side profile looks unless your gonna have it exposed. I would definently go with a 2 ga. If not a 1/0. Are you getting a bigger Alt. as well. If you do change out the cable going from the alt to the battery. If you really got the money I would go with a Yellow top as your secondary battery & have the system run off of that.

Actually Im waiting on my 200amp alt from TY ordered it a little while ago and as for the battery situation ,I have a yellow top sitting on my work bench it was on sale last month so i couldnt refuse :P . Do you think i would still need a second battery after the 200 amp alt and upgraded power and ground wires?

Ya really,1000/1 - 450/4 kinda like how the incarcerated use numbers for identification instead of names

Paul, I have a yellow top just for my system with 5 farad cap and stock alt with 0 gauge wire. My volt gauge always stays at 14.7. It'* NOT a good idea to replace your factory battery with a yellow top, red top is for car batteries, yellow top is a deep cycle bat, great for powering amps.

Digital Design is nice stuff, huge speakers, say a pic compared to W7 and made the JL look small. But man 2400 watts RMS is more than I want to push, that'* FAR FAR from a SQ setup, the DD is clear/tight though. nice sounding SPL stuff, not a one note wonder sub.

Paul, are you getting a box made or wanting a custom install, during the salt season is a gret time to leave it at an installer and let them take their time with the install. They don't have to rush either. My install was done in 50hrs, one week at the shop.

Im probably going with a plexiglass sealed box ,I need my trunk space so the only things im going to get done custom is 2 amp racks on either side of the trunk,Why is a yellow top (deep cycle )not a good idea to run as the main battery? My car is literaaly snowed in :o ,I would have to rent a dozer to get her out.Im gonna have to wait until the snow melts a little. How would I run the yellow in the back to the amps ,Do you have pics of it on car domai.
