Default Today Is a good day :) Got my new JL gear.

I picked up a JL 1000/1 amp with bass ****, a 450/4 amp and a 13w7sub ,Omfg this sub is heavy.I cant wait till I get my bonne back :(. Here are a few comparison picks of my old subs to the new one, huge difference .The sub on the left is a 12" kicker XPL,lol look at difference in the magnet size Forgive me for the blurry pics

Make SURE you mount it correctly, in a proper box!!!! Their website has like a 12 page thing on just installation. But i'm sure you already took care of that.

You don't enter dB contests with that, you enter SQ contests.

Damn straight!! And you can WIN too.

Good stuff there, almost identical to my setup definitly will pound nicely. Seriously though install that sub right and make it out of 1in MDF. Whose doing the install and what you got planed? Sealed or ported, or SEALED :P

The model names are inmy first post lady . Im going sealed ofcourse. Now i just have to find a good dynamat roller and good local shop who makes good quality boxes. Im also going to upgrade to 0 or 2 gauge wire aswell.But i have atleast another month or 2 before she'* back on the road :( , Man i hate salt and slush.
