much better. i wouldnt worry too much about the 6x9s... lots of people with subs ditch them all together. they are there to provide bass from the factory, but you take care of that with subs.

this is true. but its always a good mid-bass that the subs dont always pick up. and i need to protect them any way. like i said i dont want what happen last time to happen again. and thats the spider blowing out due to air compression from the subs.

this happens because the 6x9 is working against the subs. and from so much compression teh 6x9 over extends and then when the spider trys to pull it back in the subs still pushen. so a enclosure for the 6x9s has more then one purpose.

thast insane. and if by saying i could do that. i meant COULDNT....... lol. theres no way i would be willing to cut big *** wholes in my back deck. shes way to new still to be doing any of that nonsence.

how ever making a whole new back deck isnt a bad plane. maybe once i get good with fiberglass it will be an option but for now ill leave her alone

Sounds like your amp plans are similar to what I did (sorry for the crappy photos, but I do have some better ones at work, I even kept the rear passthrough fully functional by creating a tunnel):
