Default subdash removal

I read through a few forums and found out that I have to cut my subdash so that it fits. Can anyone tell me where this is and how to do it?

Mounting depth is the problem. There is plastic behind the back of the radio that will need to be trimmed or removed to install a radio. A dremel, drill, and maybe a sharp knife are all that are needed

Yes. I cut almost all of it off above the climate control screws

Heh all of it above the lower climate attachment piece. The radio sits kind of high with the installation kit so the bottom half won't hurt anything.
