sub box help
They work at Mr. Tunes. Which is known for building Comp systems. Hey hold monthly BD Drags. I agree Clipping is hell on subs... but some of the other stuff... Im not a pro im an enthusiast so u should stay out of it.
ha sorry if i sounded rude mang i had a few lastnight and, well they get me so i cant get my words out right and i can sound a jerk lol. and Bonny99 ya built it already? if so that was fast lol let us know how it sounds. some changes might be able to be made to that box if need be before scrapping it. ha i just recenlty burned my old level 4 15 box lol. was a good weekend lol
and really, you should stay out of it.
And OP if you could maybe post the specs on the box and Cracker and I could share some of our experience ... maybe make the next one better if this one doesn't turn out right.
OP, I apologize. If you want\need real help, PM me, cracker, or another audio guru.
Im building a new box and need a little help. The specs that my sub gives for a 2.0 Cubic feet box are- Internal height 19.5, internal width 13.5,internal depth 16". The 19.5 inches tall will not fit in my trunk, the most i can go is like 17" high.Any thoughts on what i should do?
My last setup, my subs were rated at 250rms, had 2" voice coils and were in a ported box that was easily twice as big as it should have been and I was giving them about 870rms for the pair of clean unclipped signal and never had a single problem. Matter of fact, i've been building and installing systems for about 17yrs and have yet to smoke an amp or subs
