well i got the sub box made. we went to home depot and got some 3/4 MDF well i didnt know i had to buy the full sheet i wanted only half, well we got the whole sheet and cut it in half just to fit in the buick. i decied that i might as well make a sub box for 2 subwoofer so i didnt have ALOT of extra wood. well it was our first time build a box i dont think it truned out half bad for a first timer. it took longter then what we thought it would take but its extra strong and it sealed tight. im only gonna half 1 sub untill i can get some money to buy another sub and amp. so only my 1 jbl will be used. so what do u guy think about the box?

ill post pic of the sub mounted when the sealent cures and i find some screws to hold the sub in. does anyone know the break in time for a jbl? i looked online and in the paper work that came with the sub.

I'd recommend not going crazy with it for about a month or so of normal use. ONe sub in there is fine, it looks good, i don't see anything wrong with it physically or design wise
.
Good luck!!

box looks good but needs some carpet. i would run your sub at a lower than medium rate on the first day then you can turn it up gradually day by day reach bout half at a week the after a month you are pretty much good for anything. good luck.
