Stock Radio and Upgraded Speakers Question
I have a 93 Bonne SSE. Could someone point me to a thread which talks about upgrading the stock speakers but keeping the stock head unit. I seached and could not find anything useful. Thx
you can upgreade the front speakers, they are 5.25 mids and 1" tweets...most ppl choose to just change the 5.25'* and leave the tweets....the rear speakers are a DVC 6x9 and have an amp that powers them...it has 4 wires that power the rear speaker instead of the normall 2

So i assume there is a thread out there which talks about upgrading the 6x9 in the back that have the 4 wires instead of the three? Can i jus get a new set of 6x9 and let the factory amp power them?
I looked into this awhile back then gave up. The rear speakers are dual coil 4/10 ohms. Good luck finding another speaker like that. Thanks alot, Delco
