Default stereo switching question

I just got a 97, complete with a casette player. theftlock is enabled, but i don't know the code.

my friend has a 98 with a cd player, and shes willing to trade with me.

1. is this possible to do by myself?

2. do i need the theftlock disabled on mine to do this?

thanks in advance.

Yea, its possible.

I dont know how theftlock works....but that 98 CD Player, if its the 7 band EQ one, you could sell it on ebay for 100$, then get yourself a used Alpine,Pioneer, Rockford, etc....

When I sold a few, it was up to the buyer for the codes and everything.
