cd changer - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

I have a 93 ssei and i wanted to install a cd changer with my stock radio, and when i was installing the fm modulator i found out that that antenna sizes were different, is there a way to get around this problem?

there is an antenna adapter that you can use. Its prollly the same as the one for an aftermarket deck

You will need two adapters: 40-GM10 and 40-GM20. These are Metra part numbers but there are others that make them. Sometimes they will come in the same package labled as FM modulator adapters for GM. The links are to Circuit City but you can find them at any shop that does car audio and most chain auto part stores.
