What'* up everyone. I'm looking for suggestions for speakers for my 99 SLE. I have 6X9'* in the rear and 5 1/4 up front and tweeters in the doors. I want to replace all of the speakers. 2 of them are blown out and they all sound horrible now. I was looking at Type R speakers but have never personally heard them. Can anyone make any suggestions? I don't really want component speaker since I want to run them straight from the headunit. But if I need to amp them, then so be it. What I'm mainly looking for is clarity at high volumes and bass. I don't have subs *yet* and I need something to fill the gap where the bass should be. lol. I also want them to be able to get LOUD with no problems. I've looked at Infinity speakers and saw great reviews but I'm still skeptical. I'm also trying to keep the speakers in the $100-$150 range for a pair since I'm spending $750 on subs and an amp. Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
