Default Speaker question???

The bose system that were in the SSE and SSEi bonneville are the speaker compatable with my 99 Buick? I think that the bose speakers have a much better tone and have a higher range of volume, but before i get started i wanted to know if they were compatable with my car.

Make sure that the speakers have the same impedance. and know that the bose system is amped so if the buick doesnt have that, it wont be the same

well i have the concert sound system in my buick so i am assuming that it already has an amp. where it is located is beyond me, and whether it has it is still in question. i just wasn't sure if the speaker size was the same between the cars.

be carefull though because sometimes the "bose" systems or the "rockford Fosgate" systems that are in some vehicles are mearly approved by those companies and the speakers are no different than stock. the better tone could be from the fact that it is an amped system. so be sure to check and see if the speakers are actually different than the stock ones

go to metra'* website. they have a vehicle fitment guide. If your factory speakers are 2 ohm you could always go with infinity aftermarket speakers.
