Default some help please?

I got my 1999SE about 2 months ago and it has the cd with graghic eq. Sounds okay but, had a rear speaker blown. I bought a new set of Cerwin Vegas 6x9 '* . I put them in last night and it sounded great. I had the radio on and the sound was much better. I put in a cd and had no sound? I ejected the cd and still no sound not, even from the front speakers. What the hell? Everything looks akay but, no sound. Could this be part of the anti theft lock? I read the factory manual and if this is the case, I need to know the unlock code? which I'm sure the prior owner knows but, I do not. Freaking technolgy If anyone of you good people could assist me on this one, I would be very gratefull.

Is this on a factory radio or aftermarket radio?

It'* a factory one with cd play and EQ. I got to listen to the new speakers for about 2 minutes then I wanted to see what a CD would sound like. That'* when the problem started. It worked fine before the speaker swap. I'm totally confused.

Thanks for the info. That eliminates that idea. If it'* not locked I wonder what could have happed? Does anyone have any ideas on what I could check? I didn't touch anything but changed rear speakers and now the front ones won't even work. I hope I didn't screw anything up

Well I thought change the polarity (swap + & - ) pull the positive battery post off and it worked.....I don't know which one did the trick but, Wow sounds much better.
