Couldnt u just wire a swtich between a power source and the remote turn on for the amp? I know its possible but im not sure about the best possible way to do this

for my pioneer I wired my power antenna to the ignition. I couldnt find where the power antenna would go up with the headunit. SO when the car is on the antenna is up, no matter if the radio is on or off, or a CD is playing

I did that in the 94 SE. I liked it a lot cause I didn't ever have to wait for it to go up.
