I think they would do much more justice in the front sound stage, and also this would prevent you from having to adjust them all the time based on different songs... basically, the way i see it, i want ONLY the beat behind me and all vocals and music in the front seat.

Personally, if your not using the rear channel on your headunit, i would hook them up to that, this way you have easier time adjusting things on the fly and in-car, atleast you will have ability to fade them in and out a bit to your taste

In addition to the added fader function, having them on the rear channel will prevent you from having signal noise and power loss from either splitting an output between channels/amps or doing a loop-out pass through on one of the amps output

ad for the idea of the sub on the rear deck, there are many cars that have a sub in the rear deck with rear Coax'*

i have always had the idea of cutting the rear deck, and making a "box" that would extend from the rear brake light to the edge of the seat, carpet it and then it would look stockish....

the idea has taken a new twist.

TB makes a lot of speakers for logitech, including their long throw subs

I've always wanted to put some circle 6.5" or so in the back deck as well.

If i ever did get around to it, i'd want to run matching drivers to the components i'd be running upfront, and have matching sized enclosures for both sets just to get the correct voice across all corners.

I'd probably just buy 2 sets of the components and not install the tweeters in the rear, or find someone who got a pair and blew the tweets, etc..

I am home this weekend so I can bring the car back to school. Hopefully another good brainstorm on the way back to school will provide me with want I want to do for sure.

i am running the circle 6.5'* enclosed equally as we speak... as for matching to sound from the front and the rear, the 2 amp setup works well because of the fine tuning you can do

where i differ is i am running the tweets in the oringal SSEi speaker grilles. I did it this way because of the way the Speaker Grilles are angled points the soundstage perfectally....every one says rear fill sucks but to each their own
