Default Better MPG idea brainstorm!

OK fellow BC'ers, this could be as fun as seeing how fast we can move down the 1/4 mile LOL. My daily driver is not the Bonneville, but a Malibu. MrsCrzydmnd already does all she can to save gas. I drive 200-300 miles a day, so I have been doing all I can. Here is some of what I have done.

Recent new tires and alignment.
Mobile 1 oil changes
New air filter every other month (Fram)
Plugs are new.

Not running the AC at all, and NO idling

I drive slower, 65 in a 70, 55 in a 65, always trying to keep engine RPM,* low.
I keep engine RPM below 3k when taking off, and pretend I have a full glass of water on the dash and not spilling any.

Last fill up, (today) was the best so far, pegging 37.4 MPG. Now I am looking to break the 40 barrier and outta ideas.

I am looking for better MPG for the Bonney too, its a 99 percent town only car these days and sees very little use above 55 mph.

Get a cold air intake, for the bonnie. My milage shot up on the freeway, I hit the 40 MPG mark, and so did smellbird I'm sheilding mine right now.... Stupid JBweld won't be ready till the morning.... An air filter every month will cost atleast $10 a month. You're airfilter shouldn't need to be replaced that much, even with your driving. You're spending more then you're saving.

Get new o2'* for both as well.

Change the way you drive. Take roads with less lights, so you don't have to accelerate that much. Move to a better local (300 miles a day isn't good for you, the car, or environment).

Jason, I am a field technician for printers, copiers and faxes. I do live in my main territory though. Some days, like today, I havent left town. But for the most part, driving is a nessecery evil.
