I'm aware of that. And I'll be taking steps to keep the rattle down as much as possible. As far as porting sub boxes goes, what is a "properly" ported box? What determines the sizes of the holes? And where?
there are full formulas and stuff to calculate port length, area, volume, and other stuff.
Google it, its actually quite a process. You normally tune a box to specific frequencies too.

want to come stop the rattling on my car too? It can be your test vehicle.
Well, I'll be tyring to stop the rattling. I don't know if I'll be able to completely get rid of it.

I have no idea when it is, and probably will not be able to make it. Are you coming to the next NEBF?

I'd like to, there'* definitely no guarantee. And if my ball joints aren't replaced by then I definitely will not be going. I may be moving into a new place soon so I have to watch the cash flow too.

I'll be at the next NEBF no questions. And every other NEBF after that. I have no excuse for those anyway.

Whew!

You boys go south quick....

No the meaning "ENCLOSED SPACE" refered to the TRUNK
your TRUNK'* VOLUME contribute to the sound wave
reguardless if it'* a PORTED or SEALED enclosure
of the box itself....

Geez....
Step away for a few daze....

Sorry no suspension system will take additional rear pressure
and "hold their own" and sound good in their own right.

Think the designer adds rigidity and cone mass to offset the
pressure wave of another source in an enclosure
(the trunk) not hardly! the only wave'* he'*
considering are what his drivers producing.

- Gotta disagree on that point there is gonna be some
- effect on an open cone (6x9) from that big thumper.

Try this, crank your sub with the mains disconnected
Why look at that! - them mains are now passive drivers!
