Default Pollen v. My CD Player

We're getting so much pollen lately that I'm noticing pollen inside my car and all over my cd player. I'm wondering is there anyway all this pollen could mess up my CD player? If so, is there anything to do to stop it?

I park it with the windows up, the only time I have them down is for about 15 minutes or so every afternoon driving through town. The pollen is coming in while it'* parked in our yard. corvettecrazy, if I run one of those lense cleaners through it, would that help?

There'* pollen all over the inside of my car, and I'm curious whether it'* possible it could get in there and mess up my cd player. I can see the pollen all over the cd player and dashboard.

How is pollen getting in your car when the windows are up? Is the defroster open?

Those lens cleaners sometimes are made for certain types of disc drives. Most are for a tray loading type of player, not a slot loading IIRC.

IDK how it'* getting in, but it is. I have a lens cleaner that'll work for my cd player, I've used it before.

You could shove a couple Benadryl tablets in it, just in case.

*sorry, I couldn't resist*
