Yea.. thought about retribution.. but the clause is that I didn't pay for storage when my car sat there.. so legally.. you can't sue someone for something you got for free.. I"ve thought of other things.. but lets say if I did.. it would be old school mad max style, and with a house on the way.. it'* not worth the re-precaution if caught. :?

Default What do you guys think?

I was just the winner of a pair of Cerwin vegas 6x9 3ways model HED-1693 for $54.99 off ebay.
Will they be straight drop in'*? I took a quick look in my trunk (1999 SE) and it looks to me that you have to take the grills off and install them through the top? Can you guy'* offer any pointers? How to take them off ect. I haven't had the car long and I don't want to mess anything up.
I love this site! You guys give great advice and know your Bonnies.

well on my 96 ssei th gril pop up in the front and slide off, but the metal grill can sometime catch on the clotch of the deck so be careful taking it off, i dont tihnk that standard pioneers or any other 6x9 will fit, the is a raised plastic frame that the speaker is in, it is hed by 2 clips, you just pull it out, you can unplug the speker either form the trunk or after you lift it out, you will then have to remove the speaker form the frame and cut the frame accordingly, i just took a dremel too it and made the hole a little ibgger and my fosgates fit, i tihnk you will have to do the same for the pioneers because pioneers didnt fit my frien'* grandam and he also had to make slight adjustments
