Default Non Pontiac OEM Radio Question

Ok, here is the situation. Helpful input/advice from anyone would be appreciated.

Just bought the wife an 02 Chevy Trailblazer. It has an OEM CD player. Both ***** on the radio were broken. Found and purchased a used OEM radio from someone on Ebay .($35!!!). I have a feeling it is going to "lock" once I turn the truck on after installing it. Is there a "simple" way to reset this radio once I get my hands on it without having to go to dealer?

It is GM Part # 15195521

Thanks.

mremer when you get the radio write down the model # and serial number, the dealer should be able to give you the code to unlock the radio. Good luck

Default Update

Ok, I installed the new radio. Put the key in the ACC position and the radio worked fine. Started the truck up and BAM "LOCKED". So I decided I would go to the Chevy dealer in my area to get it unlocked, then I was struck with an epiphany. The only thing wrong with the original radio was the face was all smashed in (loose *****, buttons missing/broken, and no back light). I swapped parts. Everything works fine now and NO trip to dealer!

Thanks everyone for you help.

Mike
