Well with my christmas money, i'm getting a 12" RE 175W subwoofer. some say that it can handle way beyond 500W. but anyway, I'm gonna wire it series to my z-5500 amp and i'm puting it in a box that my cousin gave me (thanks cuz). he also game me a class D JL AUDIO monoblock amp 500/1.

Anyway, i would like to question for the future car i get, whether it be the good ol' bonneville or the jeep cherokee (i hate that car), would it cost less than 200 bucks if i got a dual 12" box from my cuz free, another 12" re audio woofer, and a 1k 2 channel amp? maybe a deck to if he doesnt have one. still, would i be fine under 2-300 dollars?

ur link doesnt work. Ur not gonna want a 2 channel amp, stick to a monoblock. Common amature misconception that if u run 2 subs u need a 2 channel amp. U can hook up 20 subs to a monoblock (1 channel amp) its all about impedance, most nice monblocks are 1 ohm stable, however most 2 channel amps are 2 ohm stable per channel in stereo mode and only 4 ohm stable bridged.

U should be able to find a nice amp to do the job for around $200 new, i wouldnt go much cheaper than that tho, cause then ur getting into junk stuff. You can get a Really nice used amp for under $200.
