I was thinking about puting a full kenwood excelon sound system in my 96 se and just thought i'd ask your opinions on kenwood. Also, what other brands do you recomend?

Excelon products are great in my oppinion. About a week ago I installed the kenwood excelon 6900 6 x 9s and I've loved them. They produce great highs and have really got punch when it comes to bass. I'm biased but I listened to top of the line kickers, alpine type Rs and these sounded a lot better ! But everyone has their own ear. I don't think you're going to get all four excelon speakers for $200....6 x 9s alone are going to cost you around that amount.
