IPOD help! Is there a cd changer plug in my trunk? W/ PICS - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

sorry. The wire harness is NOT there for the cd changer. I just checked the Aurora, and one of our Bonnevilles. None of them have the cd changer and none of them have the wiring for it.

Very nice to have a diagram, it gives me the impression that the CD changer used control leads that are tied into a common computer along with the radio and dash intergration unit. I do not get the impression that there was a direct cable between the head unit and the CD changer, so the cable may be there because of the computer intergration.

I'll see if I come up with anything after supper.

You guys can still check if you want to, I might be wrong, but all I saw on the passenger side of the trunk was the wiring that goes to the ELC pump, a sunroof drain, and the wiring for the tail lights. That'* all I saw and there weren't any loose connectors hanging around back there. The only empty connectors I have in my trunk go to my Onstar which I disconnected and removed from the vehicle.

What would it take to get one of these diagrams with the amplifier?

IF I did have this plug would it be safe to assume that it would be on the passengers side of the trunk only?
