I need help With My Stereo - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

did you use good shielded rca cables to hook the hu to the amp? the other causes for interferance are bad grounds, running the power and signal cables together, or possibly a fault in the car like needing wires/plugs, or an alternator fault.

have you had the alternator and the battery tested lately? Do the rest of the lights in the car fade when this happens?
