I can't remember but I think that when I had the stock HU in there the antenna went up whenever it was on. But that was so long ago, and I changed out HU fairly quick that I don't remember at all.

My aftermarket HU only keep the antenna up when it'* on the radio.

on the 97, with the stock radio, the antenna only goes up with the RADIO function on...

If you antenna creates that much wind drag.....then you gotta get an */C....lol....Is it year specific with the antenna deal??? I think my 95 stays up when the HU is powered up...been a while because the CD players f'd in it though.

I think TJ'sblackbonne needs to check his own car to see if it stays up with a cd or not. i am almost positive it does stay up though.

I agree with 88 but i am almost sure that if you play a CD or casette that power antenna goes down. That is a function that i remember seeing if you want to go through a automatic car wash. The antenna is only up when the radio is on, and down when the CD/Tape function or the radio is powered off

tryed it again ant. stays up. Dont know why but it doesnt go down anymore as long as the car is on and the radio is on it stays up.
