i am assuming u want ur amp on whenever your ignition is on...

correct me if im wrong, but i dont think the stock deck has a remote wire

so you need to splice a wire from that dull yellow one, and run it back to your amp, into the remote turn on...

so when u turn on ur car, the amp will start automatically...

you could even put a switch in that line, if you need to have ur bass turned off very fast for cops or something

you could have also gotten your remote lead from the power antennae itself. That way you wouldn't have to run as long of a wire. I don't know the wire colors because I never did it on that year of Bonneville but i've done it on other cars before. It works whenever the factory radio is turned on. IF you had an aftermarket deck this solution would not work because some of them leave the power antennae off unless you have it set on radio, not cd.

that was my org. idea. Is there a way you could find out the color wire for me. it would be less hassel. Because i am using a line out converter then connects to the 6x9'*. So i dont have to take the radio out for that. So yea if you could find that out it would help. But halo still has Poster of the year lol.

Do you have a multimeter? If so, you can find out which wire it is by testing to see when it has current. one is ground, one is positive (always on), the last is the remote turn on.

so your saying pink? With the meter all i do is connect it and go through them one should always have power, one with none, and one only when the ignition is on. Correct?

the wire with no power is gonna be ur ground

and you need to ground your voltmeter in order to test the others

the pink wire should have no power when the car is off..but when u turn your radio on, it will come on as 12v...

so now, do you have a tape or cd?

*wonders if the antenna stays up when cd or tape is on....
