I would go look at my Riv, but I just sold it. Um. There should be a dark green wire that goes to the power antennae relay by the antennae. That should be the wire you need. Use a test light or multimeter to check for sure though but I think that'* it..

i have a cd player. I will have to get in there and check it out. How hard is it to get to these wires, are they right in the truck?

pull back the carpet in the trunk right where the power antennae is located at. The wires are right there in plain sight.

im not sure that the antenna stays up when a CD is inserted, you might wnat to check on that

I'm almost positive that it did on our 95 SSE but that was a long time ago so I can't remember. lol. As far as I know it does though. yes, definatley check that before doing all that work for maybe nothing.

ok i was thinkin about this all day at work...

im almost 99% sure that my moms 97 antenna tries to go down when the cd is playing....but its broken so i dont remember....

def check into that though
