Headunit time.
I would have to go Alpine'* myself, there features aren't usesless if you know how to set them up, and as far as the Clarion'* quality, it has gotten tons better then a few years ago. But you have to look at what you need compared with want specially from a budget stand point.
There are some nice Kenwood Decks out there. Do not overlook them. In my past cars I have had kenwood everytime and they worked very well.
Currently I have a Rockford Fosgate Headunit and it works flawlessly too. But you wont find those much anymore. RF doesn't make them anymore, but you can still find them new, from around the web etc..
I have also had Pioneer as well, Good units too.
just my $.02
Good hunting!

I just had a Pioneer 5900 installed. I've used nothing but Kenwood since I've started driving, and will probably be switching back. But, if you're looking for a good headunit, these aren't bad. It takes a bit to get it set up to your liking, but the features/sound/etc.. are pretty good.. My only REAL gripe with it is the bass boost. Completely worthless feature IMO. Makes just about any setup sound like ***.

I found that I could easily adjust the more complex things while driving down the road.
