Default Radio Headunit Swap

sorry if this has been asked before... my father'* 94 SLE has a cassette w/ equalizer headunit; I just got hold of a '95 that has CD/equalizer. Theftlock issues aside, would this '95 era unit fit and wire in exactly into the '94 car? I am seeing conflicting opinions so just thought I'd ask the experts thanks

yes a your CD will be a direct swap. all the radios from 94-99 will fit. Now there may be a few cosmetic differences between the years but the mounting brackets and connections will be exactly the same. 92-93 radios have a slightly different mounting but you still can use the 94+ radios in 92-93 cars

with the CD you put in you will be able to retain your steerning wheel controls too
