It won't sound like it should. The Monsoon system needs 2 ohm speakers. Yes, I have tried it myself.

I say this every time this is brought up. Rip out that crappy Monsoon stuff! It'* all paper junk with flimsy foam surrounds. Take it all out, get a decent head unit, some nice door/deck speakers, and a good amp for all of them. You'll lose a little bit of low end because your deck speakers are no longer "subs", but you'll gain a ton of mid and high. Then, if you REALLY want that low end you can either get a nice 10" sub and tuck it in a corner or you can build a box around the backside of your deck speakers.

I got a 600 watt amp with a kicker 12 and the weak spot is obviously the front door speakers

I replaced ALL of my stock junk with Kenwood awesome. Re-wired everything too. Sound increased by 100 at least.

When i purchaced my GXP it had a blown front drivers speaker, i replaced it on the cheap with a 4 ohm stock speaker from the Colorado i had just traded in. The sound is different from left to right but it has served it purpose until i get back to the states and replace everything. Gots me a whole new system waiting for me.
