I was just wondering what the average price on a factory bonneville CD player is right now. My radio has a seven button equalizer (I think that is what it is called). I was wondering if a CD player without this would still work.

There is a scrap yard where I am that has one of each and he wants $75 canadian for each of them. The only problem is the one with the seven button equalizer is in pretty bad cosmetic shape but works perfectly (tried it in my car). Are these prices pretty good or should I wait for a better one to some in.

I do have an aftermarket CD player in another car of mine that I can put into the bonneville. Is it hard to do this in these cars??

the aftermarket is easy to install into your Bonneville....you will need a PAC SWI-X if you want to retain the steering wheel controlls and your HU also must have a remote to make this work

So, you have a 7-band Equalizer radio ONLY, right now? The only reason I ask, is that if your old unit is a cd 7-band that is not working, and the replacement CD is a 7-band and is from a 94 or 95, the face plate from your old radio should be swappable. The connectors on my '97 were totally different from the '95 unit and were not plug-n-play.

either CD is a direct swap. I think that'* what you wanted to know. And the price is about average for them. The last two I sold were $80 each.
