door speakers dont come on

door speakers dont come on
i recently purchased a 97 ssei and it has a soundstreem amp and speakers already installed... im not sure if everything is connected properly but the amp is connected the the rear speakers and they work fine but the book speakers dont come on.... they look new so i dont thing they are broken but if you can help plz do....thanks alot

well without being there and following the wires i dont see how anyone will be able to help u . u might have to take some stuff apart . take a look at the amp and see how many speakers are connected to it . if it looks like they all are then u will have to figure out where the wire has come undone . and if not then u will have to rewire everything so it works.

easy sollution. swap the front and rear wires on the amp. If your fronts play, you will know they arent blown, and that the wiring isnt broken. If your rears dont play, its the amp

no wire from the front
na theres no wires from the front speakers in the amp... jus the rear speakers.... how do i check to see if the door speakers are connected in the door

a am willing to bet that they they didnt hook the front doors up at all. You will be better off just re wiring the amp from three channel mode that they are running to 4 channel mode. did they wire it to the house speaker or did you?

I have been thinking about your car for a while and i am curious to see if i am correct. I bet they still have the factory speakers up front. They probably blew them all and just upgraded the rears because they are easier to do and just cut out the fronts completely. Please let me know what you come up with.

turns out that the person who installed my system cut all the original wires from my aftermarket radio and amp so i jus ran some wires from the door panels to the amp and its all good thanks everyone for ur help
