Cool Cig lighter plug blown. Not the fuse...

Its dead.. I plugged my cell charger into it one day, I heard a pop. Then it didnt work anymore. I spliced another aux plug to it behind the dash to install my XM unit... It has worked for 3yrs that way. I've checked the fuses under the dash and cant find anything wrong. I cant find any other threads about this topic so maybe someone can help. Kinda sucks not being able to run my xm or charge a cell phone. The one between the seats is also dead. Thanx, Brian

there may be another fuse labled 12v or acc or something like that. If you heard a fuse blow and then it didnt work, then it would most likely be a fuse elsewhere. check all of your fuses
