most work, when the parking brake is depressed it creates a ground and the DVD player operates normally, this is not the case for all players

and you will get pulled over of a cop sees a screen in your car with a movie or any movement on the screen, provided that the cop can see it. That is why the DVD is spuuosed to be operated when the parking brake is depressed
thats why i have a motorized unit
just close the screen when you get pulled over
Ditto

haha yah it doesnt work that easily by just closing your indash. I installed my friends indash and yah its just a ground wire for the parking brake switch. my friend closed his indash before the cop came up and the cop asked him where the tv went. he only got a warning since it was his first time. he was very lucky to only get a warning, cuz those tickets are pricey. I have the sunvisor tvs so i just usually have a passenger watch it or turn them to the sides and let everyone else enjoy because the cops cant do anything about it if i have them turned so i cant see them.
