It is very heavy. I've had 2 RF subs before (the cheap ones) and 2 RF subs weigh less than one of these. I may loose a little in the 1/4 from the extra weight but "it'* not how fast you go, but rather how phat you rolll" .

Remember when building enclosures you need 1.2 CU Ft after the subs displacement. THOSE THINGS ARE HUGE. so you'll need to account for them Sealed will sound the best. ported will be loudest. Those are too deserving to be screwed over by a bandpass box. I'd suggest puitting one behind each seat flanking the middle. Point them both at the license plate area, in the middle, so angled in. Amps can be set in the floor, but i had a neat install place for my old one in my nova. I put it on the area between the edge of the rear seat and the carpet. So it'* behind your leg if you were sitting there. It'* hard to see it, they aren't in the trunk, and can vent well, and not get hit by loose stuff, and it'* different then most installs. PPI ROCKS. I'll draw up some ideas for ya tonight when i'm back, or maybe we could talk on the phone. Don't make perfect square boxes, and try to keep the longest side less the 3x the smallest sides length. Don't sacrafice your rear speakers you just bought either!

I did some comparison measurments and decided a different way to do it. I will no longer leave the armrest opening open all the way thru. It would look to weird like that.

I have a new idea but I will need to draw it out before I try to describe it. It will be more like a solid wall behind the seat with amps right behind the tail lights. I'll describe more later when I figure it out.
