haha, I used to do that when my cell phone would make my computer speakers freak out... I would keep the speakers real low, and then if a friend were around and I hear the noise, I would say "oh, my cell phone is about to ring" and then it would ring. It would amaze them every time. "how did you know?!" and I just kept my mouth shut.

Change phone providers and phones...I've never heard anything in the speaks...lol

You'll get interference with any kind of cell phone. Heck, if my phone is too close to my monitor at work it distorts the monitor(older NEC).
