Default CD Player

I have an E 20 message on Bose system CD player in my new to me 1998 Bonneville SSEI.
The CD will not play and the CD pops back out. It looks like the car use to have a CD changer. What does this message mean and how can I fix it?

Please help a music lover.
Thanks,
Gold Gal

the delco radio'* are nice....when they work.
i've got 3 sitting here at my house......two that have similiar errors ocassionally and 1 with just a burnt out bulb in the display. Thats basically off topic until you look on the cases of them. They've all been sent in for repairs on numberous times.

I'd suggest doing a search....I think there was a link for where you could send it to. I don't think this is anything that is an easy fix.

E20 Focus Error Cause: The CD player cannot focus on the disc or there ia an internal focus problem, Correction: Try cleanig the disc or using a newer disc, Make sure the disc is loaded correcty. The road could be too rough or there is too much humidity. If the problem is not corrected, send unit to service at CorvetteRadios.Com.
