Anyone install a CD changer in a 2002 Bonneville?
I'm looking for recommendations on what CD changer to get. Does Pontiac offer one or is this an after-market option?
Thanks

I believe you could get one from a dealer, but the price may be a bit prohibitive campared to a car stereo shop. As far as how well an aftermarket changer would work with the factory head unit, I couldn't answer that for sure.

Yup. It works pretty good. I'm very impressed, and I bought a cheapo. Changes CD'* and tracks faster than my fairly new Jensen changer I removed when I built Lilpooky'* "ssei" stereo. If the factory unit isn't feasible or cost effective, go this route.

With cd'* changers you have to watch because it usually works that the changer has to be the same brand as your deck. If its not you have to by a seperate controller for more money. I have a JVC deck and bought a JVC changer for $100 on ebay (that seems the wa to get cheap excellent quality stuff) but it is almost always cheaper to buy aftermarket then to go back to the dealer.
