Default BOSE DYNAMIC EQUALIZATION speakers

1997-newer Pontiac Bonneville'* (and other BOSE equipped GM cars from 1997-current).
I am working with a Bose representative to figure out why the 6x9'* are so problematic (blowing) in our "BOSE DYNAMIC EQUALIZATION" equipped GM cars.

I would thing aging maybe? Whoever had the car before you might have hooked an amp to them or had the factory radio up all the time or if they didn't maybe the person they lent the car out to did.

I found a place that sells the Bose 6x9s. But they are $99 EA! My replacement JBLs were $79/pr. My Bose 6x9s were shot from the time I bought my car. There is a serious design flaw with the system from the factory. Let us know what you find out. IF they are sending out free replacements I still have mine. Free is free...

Well, how I look at is is this... if they give em to me: cool If not: my pioneers are rated at like 3 times as much as the stockers(now to get an amp to power them correctly )
