bose speakers in a non bose car - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

The bose speakers will more than likely use a different connector, if any at all. A lot of times the gm bose speakers just use spade plugs like normal aftermarket speakers, and they have their own special adaptor to mate to the gm body wiring harness. It should just be a straight swap, but your factory HU may not like it. Like was stated before, bose speakers often use 1-2 OHM speakers, delco units usually like 4 OHM, sometimes even 10 OHM speakers.
