What is "Dynamic Equilization"? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default What is "Dynamic Equilization"?

Curious. A big sticker on my 98 where my gain control was on my 94 says "BOSE Dynamic Equilization". So I'm assuming it automatically/continuously changes a hidden equilizer? Fill me in please.

I didn't think so, but when I put a Delco CD player in with the equilizer it sounds like crap. Hence I went back to the Bass/Treble slider stereo.
